It is increasing seen as having the potential for significant economic growth. The certainty of further regulation and the incentives for early take make early adopting of the scheme by landlords an attractive option.

Objectives

It is a key Government initiative and the workshop will cover the responsibilities of the landlord and tenant, the proposed serious consequences of doing nothing and help show how increasing the energy efficiency of properties can be a good investment . It will inform landlords of how the recently launched scheme will work, what it involves and help landlords understand whether the Green Deal Scheme is right for them and detail the necessary steps to take advantage of the scheme.

RLAAS

This course is worth 3 points with the Residential Landlord's Association Accreditation Scheme

RLAAS is a national scheme who aim to encourage, acknowledge and actively promote good standards and management practice by owners and to assist owners and tenants to undertake their respective responsibilities to each other.

RLAAS is open to all landlords who operate in the private sector, and accreditation is FREE. Members of RLAAS also recieve a discount when enroling for a course operated by the Residential Landlord's Association.
