Employer’s Reference
Prior to granting a tenancy you should collect as much information as possible about the prospective tenant, so you can vet the tenant and minimise the risk of getting "the Tenant from Hell".
The Employer’s Reference offers the following benefits:
- Gathering Essential Information - This form permits you to obtain an employer’s reference and assess the suitability of the prospective tenant.
- Confirming Identity - Referencing a tenant will help you establish the fact that he/she is who they say they are.
If a potential tenant does not want to provide you with an employer’s reference, ask for the reasons why and consider them very carefully.
