A Midlands landlord has been sentenced to 150 hours community service and ordered to pay £400 compensation along with £60 costs after being found guilty of racially aggravated harassment of his tenant. Solihull Magistrates Court heard how David Greene threatened his tenant with physical violence and made abusive remarks when trying to make Delrose Smith give up her flat. Officers from Birmingham's private tenancy section brought the case under the Protection from Harassment Act.
