Fault Based Possession
The first type of possession is “FAULT BASED” and means the tenant has broken some term of the Tenancy. Most commonly this will concern the payment of rent although the Section 8 notice can be used for any other breach. Fault based possession can be started at any time in the tenancy term.
On this page we explain in more detail exactly what a Section 8 notices is, what the different grounds for possession are and links to download these and N5/N119 court forms.
