Future Renting North

Are you ready to operate successfully in the private rental market of the future?

If you've been a landlord in Wales over the last five years, chances are you've seen a whole lot of change in the sector. Whether you've altered your approach to the market with your student properties because of the proliferation of large purpose-built student accommodation, grappled with Rent Smart Wales, or re-structured your portfolio in light of the Mortgage Interest Relief changes, being a landlord is certainly not as simple as buying the right property in the right location anymore.

Future Renting Wales will be looking ahead at what sort of Private Rented Sector (PRS) we want in Wales, as opposed to reacting when things are thrown our way. It's your job, as landlords and members of the RLA, to help us shape that. Attend the conference and have your say on the future of renting in Wales.

Why attend?

The conference offers a packed programme featuring a range of expert speakers who will address delegates on issues including Rent Smart Wales, Wales fee ban, Welsh market insights and tax.

Expert Lawyer Dr David Smith will be explaining the traps and pitfalls to avoid as Westminster introduces a whole raft of changes over the next year with welfare reform, tax and energy efficiency set to have a huge impact.

Finally you'll spend the day with a great bunch of your fellow landlords, so you can share your stories and expertise and maybe even come away with an idea that could transform your lettings!
