Hi, we have received an application of notice from the court (following being granted possession of a rental property) which states that the tenant claims she was at the court but was taken to the wrong place so wants another hearing. so, we now have another hearing date on Thursday. It feels like the tenant is using this as a delaying tactic. To give some background, the tenant hasn't paid any rent since moving in despite most probably being eligible for housing benefit. Apparently the tenant has a meeting with the council tomorrow (they have said previously that they won't backdate her claim) Does anyone else have any experience or advice please?
