what is the best way to advertise for tenants?. Can any one tell me of a good website please or the method they use. I had used an agent who was useless. I like to find my own tenant but somehow like an agent to do the referencing, dealing with deposit etc. I have even forgotten the procedure. What are the steps to take when renting yourself? I know we have to get an EPC and a gas cert. also I know you have to get references for which u need to see 3 months bank statements? (what if they refuse it saying invading privacy). What are the other things I need to do?. Its a nice 2 bed flat not an HMO. Oh yes! I need to get an inventory done. Anything else? Thanks a lot.
