Has anyone heard of fire glass double glazed windows?

I am in the process of separating a single side extension from a main property on two floors. The side extension is lower than the main building.

The main building has a side window on the top floor which is adjacent to the side extension. The building regs officer has demanded I put a "fire glass window" on this side window to stop fire spreading to the main house incase there is a fire from the lower single side extension.

I have spoken to some builders and three double glazing companies. None of them has heard of such a window.

Has anyone had a similar experience, and how was it resolved? I would be grateful for any advice.
