I felt the best option for me was to let a property to a council. they take it for 3 years, do all the management free including paying the rent into your account and return the property in the condition it wwas. Any one has any ideas of pitfalls other than the fact that the tenant may not look after the property?. Well I thought after my private tenant was worse than council tenants and managing the managing agent was more difficult than managing the bad tenant.
