Good morning.

I am renewing a tenants AST for a further 12 month period. (so new 12 month ast). My question is what (if anything) needs done be done in relation to the deposit already held with the DPS and does need tenant need to be again given the prescribed information etc etc. Also in the RLA AST there is a box to say the tenant has paid x amount of deposit.. do i put in there the amount that they paid in the beginning when they first moved in or do i put in zero as now they are not actually paying anything.

I could not find an RLA guidance note on this one, if there is one please point me in its direction!

Thanks all.

Kind regards
