I asked my electrician to put up six cheap light pendent (6 for £10 at screwfix), replace showe pull cord outside bathroom, and put a new light (LED) in bathroom.

He was onsite from 1.30pm to 5pm. He talks for England and I expect he talked my painter to death (who was onsite at the time).

He tried to bill me all in £450.

I questioned the cost, and and asked for a breakdown of labour and parts. He then left me a voicemail to say hed made a mistake on the bill. Two hours later I get another email asking for £385, labour and parts.

Ive written back and asked him to break down the labour and part again.

Just wondered what your thoughts are 😂😂?

(Note Ive found a new electrician for future work).
