Just processed a deposit wih the DPS for a new tenant and tried to use their Prescribed Information generator to create the PI document. Haven't used it before, but it seems to limit the clauses from the AST to 500 characters. Not sure why. Seems a bizarre restriction. However, it means that it doesn't work with the RLA model AST. Has anyone else noticed this? Can the RLA put a bit of pressure on the DPS to amend their software? Its meant to be a brand new website and the pig-headed stubbornness of their representative when I called to query it was unbelievable in a service based organisation.
