I have had a couple who have been excellent tenants in every way, for the last three years (tenancy started December 2015) they came to me via agents.
I am now renewing their agreement for a further year, but they have freely commented they obviously do not have the right legal paperwork to be in the country. I have never asked to see any paperwork, as I assumed more recently if it was necessary the agents would have commented. They were in the UK living locally before they took on my tenancy.
Where do I stand on this?
THink they may be Eastern European.
Thanks for any advice.
