Have recently taken over my fathers affairs as his POA. His 2 rental properties have not been maintained properly so are in the process of upgrading. Want to give one of the tenants notice as will need to sell property to pay for dads nursing care. There is no formal tenancy agreement, just a soapy piece of paper. Tenant has been in the property for 20 years. How do I serve notice? Do we need to provide reasons?
