There is a clause in the management agency agreement that states
The tenancy for the property will be six months renewable, any such renewals to be done by Cavendish Homes on the same terms as this agreement.

This agreement will then terminate on vacation of the property by the tenant.

Can this clause be enforced and would it stand up if we were to take a landlord to court for recovery of unpaid commission?

The tenant as been told by the landlord that he will collect rent himself and to have no dealings with us.

The landlord told us that he is taking over and we referred him to the agreement. We did in fact offer tolower commission rate charge to him. in an attempt to reach an amicable settlement but this was ignored.

What is your advice on this.
