Hi, I've just completed some house checks - on HMO's with 5 tenants on a joint AST, shared kitchen and shared bathrooms - in one of the houses some of the tenants have put fridges in their bedrooms and one has put a fridge freezer and a kettle in his room too. I am not happy about this but not sure where I stand legally - do I have the right to say that kitchen equipment is now allowed in bedrooms and the kitchen has a fire door and a heat detector for a reason?
Anyone had this experience or knows if I have a case to ask them to remove these from their bedrooms? Thanks
