I am a student alndlord. One of my houses is on a shared AST with 5 people and ends on 31st July 2007. One of the tenants has asked me if she can sub-let to an italian couple for a month from 19th June to 19th July. She has confirmed that she will continue paying the rent herself. She says other house mates don't mind. Is this wise? My lease says that I will not unreasonably withhold permission to sub-let. What paper work should I apply if any? I have warned her that she is still responsible for the house &any damage taken from the deposit. The house is licensed for 5 people. A couple would make 6 except that some of tenants have moved already/ are moving out soon.
