Tenant is three months in arrears,(on periodic tenancy) have tried to negotiate with him, I now suspect he has disappeared - no signs of life for the last few days.
However, he has all the keys to the apartment!
THe only way we can get access is to get a locksmith in and then change the locks.
Assuming he has left property in there, can i move it and store it? Take photos, get witness to check "inventory" - anything else?
If I can do this, how long can I store it for?
If the property is empty can I re-market and get a new tenant in ASAP?
Any answers gratefully received.
THank you.
