I have a Tenant in a room in a Shared House. He has been there for Several Years on an Informal Basis.
He has a Rent Book. Over the Past 18months his Rent has been Late or Not Paid.
By December 2009 he owed me 970. I made arrangments with him to Alter the Payment Dates to 10th Month ( was fortnightly) and as from Febuary to pay back the Outstanding Arrears. He has paid Rent only for Febuary/March and in April put 350 ( RENT 300 ) into my Bank. 50 in back Payment. Should have had 270 by that time.He did Not get the Rent book signed.Can I ask him to Produce this ?
I asked him to leave but he is Refusing to do so. I will be Issuing a Section 21 Notice to Take effect from 11th July.
Is there anything Else I can do to remove him.? Recover the Outstanding Rent ?
It is unlikley he will Pay me anymore Rent.
