Hi I am new to the RLA. I do have houses that are for student rents. I am thinking of going into low cost housing for LHA tenants. Does anyone have any initial advice?

I am concerned with payment and whether there are means to get the Local Housing Authority to pay. To be frank the risk of getting monies out of some housing benefit tenants does concern me.

Any thoughts on any areas particularly that are investment hot spots for property of this nature? There are low property neighbourhoods all over the place but some I am sure worth avoiding.

Anything I have not raised here.

Any comments/help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
