What do people think is the best way to structure the payments on an AST for housing benefit tenants.

I usually structure them on 4 weekly basis so the amount for rent is often an odd amount to match LHA rate.

Now that I have to call one in for guarantor court action I realise that I have made the fixed term 6 months but the the 4 week periods starting from the first day of the fixed term do not add up to 6 months.

Is this a fatal error? And what is the best way for the future?
