Hi,
I have a single adult male tenant in my 2-bed Daventry property for 5 years and for the last 3 or so have been paid the LHA directly to me as the tenant suffers bipolar disorder and OCD rendering him incapable of managing his affairs well/at all! Refuses Adult Mental Care support offered by Northampton Council and of course I am owed 7 weeks money to date. What is the prefered way to proceed to recover money, have him evicted, increase rent to todays full market rent, hope and pray? I need to act fast to prevent crippling losses for me.
