Method of srving S21
Our company policy is to serve S21 at the first opportunity after the tenancy has commenced.
S21(1)(b) was personally handed to the tenant,legal implications explained. The tenant signed both copies of the S21 at the bottom as "received". One copy left with the tenant.
The tenant is now defending our possession order on the grounds that he was not served S21 - We have the S21 clearly signed by the tenant as received.Should we have had the service witnessed? Is that necessary in the circumstances?
