Clarification on the guidelines
May sound like a daft question but......
Read the material on section 21 posession however a certain section is confusing me.
Tenancy has expired and they are on a SPT paying monthly. If I serve a Section 21 notice today face to face then does it expire on the 14th March? The reason for my confusion is the section that says:
"It has to expire “the last day of a period of the tenancy” and that is usually the day before the rent is due if the rent is due calendar monthly"
Their rent is due on the first, does this make a difference?
