Selling a property / Ending a tenancy
1. The agreed 12 month term ended in September 2010. Am I still required to issue a Section 21?
2. If yes do I still need to give 2 months notice?
3. Is it possible to give the tenants a flexible moving out date? There is no guarantee that I will find a seller so I was thinking about making them an offer to remain in the property until I have exchanged contracts (i.e. I would reimburse 1 months rent if they stay in the house while it is being marketed and give them a month to move out between exchange and completion of the sale).
