Repossesion due to job loss
Unfortunately I erred by offering the tenant a long contract as they were employed when they moved in and seemed stable.
The council is now advising the tenant to stay beyond the expiry of the section 21 which is at the end of the year. The payments due will not accumulate to two months until this time leaving me in a very difficult position.
However, I have just lost my job through redundancy. Is this a legitimate reason to start proceedings? If so where and how do I enter this on the section 8 and will I need to follow this up immediately with a court order?
