Hi All

I'm after a bit of advise for my sister.

My sister and her family booked a holiday for the week to stay in a cottage, they paid 550 for the week and when they arrived were very disappointed with the cottage.

My sister said it was very dangerous as when they were washing at the sink they could see the light beneath them and the wires also when they had a shower the water from the shower was spraying everywhere even outside, also there was a balcony upstairs which was very loose and which was very slack and if anyone had of fell through it would of killed themselves, amongst other things.

The very next day they handed the keys in and went home as she felt that her and her family were in danger, when she got home she rang the company who was letting it out and told them of the danger and that they should have these jobs secure before reletting, they just said it has nothing to do with them and they are there just to take bookings my sister was furious and demanded her money back, after waiting a week she then got a response from the owner saying that she wont get her money back and that she is thinking of taking my sister to court for the damages she has done to her property,my sister is absolutely mortified that this horrible woman has accused her of such a thing as this is so not true and she is only trying to scare her in to not taking this any further, but unfortunately this is not going to happen as i have told my sister to take her to court as this is not good what she has said just to cover herself.
Could anyone please advise us of what to do next as we need to put a stop to people like this.
