Last year I fitted a new combi boiler into my rental property.
My accountant says that I cannot claim this as a deductible expense because it is not a repair but a replacement. Is that right? i don't understand as the property has to have heating and hot water, so it is an essential expense for me. Is he right or are there any other opinions on this. Any advice gratefully accepted.
Thanks
