We have 8 properties owned for a number of years . Some have equity and others none as on two we have increased the borrowing and now the value of the house is in a potential loss. Overall our portfolio is in a positive value at circa 400k equity. If we sell two properties in a year and one makes a profit of 50k and the other a loss of say 20k how can I offset the loss? All our properties are owned jointly. Is it possible to create a Ltd Co? Would we then need to re-register ownership to Ltd Co along with having to change mortgages etc........ or is there an alternative way to group the properties together to 'benefit' from any losses? Thanks Ian
