There does not appear to be a letter on the site referring to early rent arrears only the "heavy" stuff. Today I note that a standing order has not been paid by a tenant who has been reliable for the last three years. Obviously it would be harsh at this stage to go in with jack boots on, however, that may the case in the future; I don't know.

My suggestion to the RLA is as follows: Can we have a complete "cradle to grave" set of documentation for arrears. As in 1st polite letter (bearing in mind my tenant may have simply changed banks) and carrying on towards the end, ie eviction. This would mean that all RLA members have a defined and standardised framework to follow ensuring that we are not weak, nor are we over-zealus.
