We have two very good tenants who are looking to purchase their own property and have just had an offer accepted on a place. Their tenancy agreement with us ends next week and they have said that thye are looking to move in a couple of months depending on how the purchase of their new property goes. Do I need to do a new AST to cover myself until they hand in their notice? or can the old tenancy agreement continue the same? We orginally went through a letting agent who found our current tenants and I cannot find a clause in the tenancy agreement that states that it will continue on a monthy contractual tenancy after the current one expires.

PLease help!
