When a tenant moved in they asked if they could change the hall carpets. The owner was explicit about this in that she wanted them removing by a contractor of her choice, storing by them and relaying at the end and the costs upfront.

On the first inspection after she moved in she had changed the carpets and said they were stored in the loft.

Shes now given her notice and the owner has asked if the carpets could be removed from the loft to store elsewhere so they could be refitted by her contractor. However, the tenant says she will not allow them in as she thinks they are snooping. They have been very picky recently mentioning gardens needing mowing etc.

She is allowed to deny access but what about geting the carpets out ?.
