Deed of Guarantee Ammendment
One tenant's replacing another in a four tenanted house where a contractual agreement's in place. The new tenant will be using her father as a guarantor. He has crossed out all of paragraph 2 of the RLA Deed of Guarantee which is as follows:
"If the Tenant is jointly and severally liable with other(s) to pay the rent and
otherwise comply with the terms and provisions of the Agreement this
means that I/we acknowledge our liability is for the payment of the full rent
or any breach of the terms and provisions of the Agreement by any of the
It seems fairly logical to me that it should be OK, but just wanted to check as the new tenant's a trainee solicitor!
