In order to both agree and release the deposit from the scheme, an inspection has to take place. Ideally I would imagine it is preferable to do on day of moving out so all can be seen and nothing hidden with furniture etc but what happens if someone needs their deposit releasing in order to put it down on their next property. I realise you could view a week or 2 earlier say it is ok and discover when furniture has gone some damage to carpets or walls etc, or is this their worry!
