The currant RLA tenancy Agreement I used has now become a monthly contractual.
Start Date 20th of the month and the leave date 19th of the month.
1/ Is the "To expire on a rent payment day" described in the contract the 19th of the month?
Tenant phoned me on the 20th of the month to say he was leaving on the 19th day of the next month.
2/ Notwithstanding his exceeding the deadline (19th), is it the case that until such time I receive formal notice by either e-mail, text or post his notice to quit does not exist or can be deemed to have been served?
