Tenancy Deposit Deduction
My tenant has moved out on 24 February 2012 and the property has now been sold (completion on 27 March 2012).
There are some discrepancies in the inventory and tenant is not willing to pay for the damages. The deposit is still with the letting agent.
My questions are:
1- Can I still claim for damages and deduct from tenant's deposit (bearing in mind that the the property is now sold)
2- If I chose to go to the Ombudsman are there any legal expenses involved?
