I would be very grateful if you could help me with my current situation regarding my rented out property. I am currently renting my flat to a couple that have just come to the end of their 6months SHTA.
Unfortunately I have just become bankrupt and am worried about my mortgage company repossessing the flat. I am about to issue a section 21 notice to quit which will give the tenants until 24th Jan 2009
If my mortgae company decide to repossess in the mean time will it affect this notice period? i.e make it shorter and force them out of the property earlier than 24th Jan 2009? All rent is up to date and they are a great couple so I want to be as honest as I can be with them. Should they panic!?
