A Tenant has advised that they are not going to pay the rent because they are poorly because of the dampness in the flat.
They have only just told me, the day the rent was due and now refuse to open the door to let me view the damage.
I got them to sign a section 21b notice when they moved in which expired on the 17th January 2007.
Would they be able to defend the claim for possesion?
What action do you suggest. Thanks
