It would seem that some tenants residing in our HMO are allowing other people to sleep on the couch etc., as a number of faces are regularly around when we visit to collect rent. Is there anything we can do other than re-iterate to our legitimate tenants the obvious reasons why there should not be anyone other than paying tenants allowed to reside in the property?
Also, we are having problems with tenants turning heating up full blast so we are considering fitting a thermostat which can be controlled by us only, is this legal and if so what would the min/max temp allowed?

Many Thanks
Sharon
