Hello
I'm wondering if you could answer a query regarding rent arrears after repossession.
I'm owed 7 months' rent from a (recently evicted) tenant. They have a CCJ, warant of execution against them etc. I know that this person has serious debts against other creditors (possibly more than I am owed). Please could you tell me if you know of any time limits imposed on creditors for taking action to recover monies owed? I am hoping to surprise this person in several years time, assuming I can find them, with a third party debt order, or one of the other options, when I actually have a reasonable chance of being paid. (There is no point in taking any action in the foreseeable future, certainly the next 2 or 3 years, if their current form of bad debt is anything to go by).
Many thanks
