Hi. Just wanted to know what people would do in my situation.

Have tenant on housing benefit with rent arrears of 2400. Tenancy finishes first week of sept. Section 21 already issued within time.

Rent arrears being pursued via Money Claims online. Now in the 14day period for the tenant to reply with admission or defence.

Tenant calls lastnight to say that she now has taken up employment and wants to discuss payment plan for the arrears.

My question, should I wait until Judgement and try to enforce with attachment of earnings or accept an offer from the tenant now?

My gut feeling is continue with the legal process to ensure a proper payment plan with enforcement rather than just her word?
Any advice/suggestions?
Thanks
