Long term tenancy
A prospective tenant has requested a long tenancy; i.e. 2 years instead of the usual 6 months.
Iam really not sure about this and wonder;
1. What is the earliest we could serve a S.21 notice should we decide to sell.
2. Would providing a 2 year tenancy mean that they are entitled to remain in the property for 2 years?
I am a little concerned about agreeing to this, although I understand their reasoning as they lost their last property after 6 months through no fault of their own.
Would apreciate some guidance.
