The tenant at the property complained about slugs entering the house, then said he had found how they were getting in and sealed it up.
I spoke to Rentokil who said as slugs were not vermin they didn't go out to them. The tenant then said the slugs were back and he had called environmental health - I have spoken to EH and they would not say anything other than they wanted to inspect. But the tenant says they have already been and he has told them he wants the laminate up in the kitchen and a new carpet. Since he has moved in he has been asking for a carpet so I cant be sure that what he is saying is correct. I have been myself and seen no evidence of slugs but that does not mean they are not there. Can EH insist that the landlady lays a new carpet. The laminate is not a year old. The property is advertised as unfurnished.
