Dear RLA
I visited my rented property the other day and was presented with a list of items to 'make good'.
My question is: as a landlord am I responsble for the following:
1.The grass had not been cut for months and the bushes/ shrubs were up against the house creating possible damp problems
2.The bathroom door was broken and they said it had got stuck with the condensation in the bathroom and one day they were unable to get out!
3.A drawer and a Cupboard had come off the units in the kitchen
4.The bathroom paint was peeling off and there was mildew on the ceiling
5. the stair rail had become lose and needs rescrewing.

I realise as a Landlord I am responsible for maintenance issues BUT I get the impression these issues are caused by lack of care!
I am very interested in your comments. Many thanks
Carol
