I have had some tenants in one of my properties for a number of years. They are on a rolling shorthold tenancy agreement which was originally for six months.

They have been now been there longer than three years. Should I have got them to sign another agreement at the three years stage or has their tenancy slipped onto some other type of agreement by default. It won't be a problem for me to ask them to sign another agreement if I need to.

Many thanks
