On two occasions, i have tried to use the RLA s Landlord in residence tenancy agreement and on each occasion the tenant has objected to and questioned the wording at the top of the agreement.
THIS AGREEMENT CAN ONLY BE USED WHERE
The rent exceeds 25,000
The property is not /will not be the Tenant's only main home
The Rent is less than 250 per annum
The agreement does not mention Landlord's in residence at all
I have had to change the wording myself before the tenant accept the agreement.
When i first queried this with the RLA, i was rather patronisingly told " not to complicate things "
Am i the only Landlord who has encountered this problem and is there any chance this
"crystal clear " agreement can be changed to include" landlords in residence"

Thanks
