deposits and guarantor
i am being taken to task by two students on a joint agreement with four, because i have witheld all of the deposit for rent arrears. The rent in arrears was over 800.00, i have only witheld 800.00. their argument is that the two paid, it was the other two that didn't so they should not be liable AND i should pursue the other tenants guarantors and NOT withold their deposit solely because they have guarantors...
i think i should withold the 800.00 then go after the guarantors for the rest over and above that, what do you think?
i am going through ADR....
