I have a tenant who, I believe, has (accidentally) damaged the gas cooker. I have written to her advising that I have ordered a replacement, and asking that she let me know a date when the suppliers can install a new one, and that I intend to take a contribution out of the deposit. She objects to this and has refused entry, and indicated that she will buy her own cooker. I am effectively being prevented by my tenant from fulfilling my obligation to provide a measns of cooking meals. At the moment I am leaving her to it. Is there anything else I should do at this point?
