Burn in carpet
i don't have Landlords contents insurance (although i have buildings insurance).
The tenant says they can't get the mark out,and that their insurance doesn't cover it - because they have already asked their insurer.
What do I do? Tenants are saying they won't pay to have a new carpet.
Who is mainly liable for this?
