I have a tenant who is now 6 weeks in arrears, but assures me that his rent will be paid once his student loan arrives (which may not be until the end of Oct).
Can you pls advise as to what formal procedures i should be taking now, if any, in lieu of this payment arriving i.e. should i be writing to warn him that if rent is not paid by 1st Nov, i will pursue eviction etc.
Or should i just sit tight and deal with it at the end of oct if rent is not paid?
Any general advice gratefully received.
